Message from Director

Dear Jessamine County Citizens,

The Jessamine County Health Department mission statement is Promote, Protect, and Improve the Health and Wellness of Our Community; as your Public Health Director, I will strive to work toward this mission daily. The Jessamine County Health Department team provides valuable services to help meet the needs of our community.

Some of the services offered include supplemental food programs through WIC, the HANDS home visitation program for new parents, Harm Reduction services, immunizations for children and adults, community outreach programs, dental varnishing in the school system, and restaurant inspections.

We value our community and want to see each community member grow and prosper in good health, with the assistance of the programs offered at the health department.
