The Jessamine County Healthy and Safe Communities Coalition (formerly the National Safety Council accredited Safe Communities Coalition) is a collaboration of community partners that are committed to improving four priority health and safety issues as identified in our Community Health Assessment and Improvement Planning Process:

- Improve Early Intervention, Treatment, Mental Health & Re-Entry
Workgroups were formed for each priority health/safety topic to develop policies and define actions to target efforts that promote positive health behaviors and outcomes. These activities are outlined in the Jessamine County CHIP Workplan: 2019-2023.
